Terms & Conditions
PAYMENTS

All monthly customers are to pay via direct debit (GoCardless), after hearing back from us post enquiry. Monthly payments will be at a flat rate of $20 AUD per month.
CANCELLATION

All cancellations must be in writing by email or SMS to us. Customers who wish to cancel must receive a minimum of 12 cleans over a 12 month period, if 12 cleans are not reached within 12 months, cancellation cannot occur until the 12th clean is completed. Customers must email / SMS to notify us of their intentions to cancel. Any pending amount on the customers bin cleaning account must be paid within 14 days of the cancellation date to avoid additional charges.
Cooling-Off Period

In accordance with the Australian Consumer Law, customers are entitled to a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of sign-up, provided that no cleaning service has yet been performed.
If a service has already been completed during this period, the cooling-off right no longer applies.
BIN ACCESS POLICY

We kindly ask all customers to leave their bins out after collection to ensure easy access for our cleaners. You will be notified whether your bins are scheduled to be cleaned on the day of collection or the following morning. If your cleaning is scheduled for the morning after collection, please leave your bins at the front of your property overnight.
Our cleaners will always apply common sense and courtesy — if your bins are not immediately visible, they may check the side of your property or knock on the door to locate them.
However, if the bins are not accessible and no one is home, your bins will not be cleaned, and the full service charge will still apply.
SERVICE SATISFACTION POLICY

If you are not satisfied with the results of your bin clean, please notify us within 24 hours of the service. Customers must provide clear photographs showing the front and inside of the bin to help us assess the issue.
Upon receiving the photos, we will review the concern and arrange either:

a re-clean of the affected bin, or
-
a refund for that specific cleaning cycle.
Please note that any complaints received after 24 hours from the time of service will not be eligible for a refund or re-clean.

Consumer Guarantees Clause:

“Nothing in these Terms limits or replaces the consumer’s rights under the Australian Consumer Law which apply automatically. We will provide our service with due care and skill and within a reasonable time.”
Misleading Conduct Clause:

“We represent the pricing, content and description of our service truthfully and will notify you promptly of any changes.”
Acceptance of Terms Clause:

“By subscribing to our service, you accept these Terms and Conditions and our privacy policy. We recommend that you read both, as they form part of the contract between you and The Bin Boys.”
Privacy Clause:
- “We collect your personal information for billing, scheduling, service delivery and customer communication. We will handle your information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.”
